http://news.fiu.edu/releases/2001/1-08auction.htm This is a news article about the Scholarship Fund at FIU, Miami that we founded in memory of our daughter, Anisa Matthews who was killed on July 1, 2000 by a stranger who became obsessed with  & stalked her.  She was 6 months from graduating with an art degree, but the school gave her the degree anyway, posthumously. The Mayor of Miami, Joe Carollo named a day after her...January 10, 2001 is the "Anisa Matthews Memorial Scholarship Endowment Day".  We hope that other art students at Miami FIU might benefit from the scholarship.  We invite anyone interested to donate to the scholarship...and this link will tell you how.     Thank you!

In Memory of our daughter, Anisa Matthews 11/16/71 - 7/01/2000
